Happy Campers: Chelsea FC Foundation Football Camp

We love to know what campers think of our Multi-Activity camps and Specialist Courses. This week, we got in touch with some campers from our Chelsea FC Foundation Football Camp at Long Road Sixth Form College.

George, 8, and Oscar, 9, let us know what they thought of camp and a little bit more about football…

Who is your favourite football team? 

George: Liverpool 

Oscar: Chelsea

Out of Eden Hazard, David Luiz, Fran Kirby and Gonzalo Higuain, which footballer was your favourite to learn about and why? 

George: Hazard, because he is a good player

Oscar: Eden Hazard because of his skill, he is one of the best players in the world

In your opinion, what was the best thing about Chelsea FC Foundation Football Camp? 

George: Foot golf

Oscar: Everything

Did you learn something interesting at camp? 

George: Nutrition

Oscar: Everything

Would you like to come on the course again? 

George: Yes

Oscar: Yes! My mum thinks it was expensive, but I think it was worth it!

Did you think you improved as a player from the course?

Oscar: Yes. In every way

What would we do to make camp even better? (spaceships or unicorns might be a challenge, so go easy on us!)

Oscar: I would like to meet a Chelsea player but know it is kind of hard
