Rainy Weather? We’ve Got it Covered (Literally!) at SuperCamps
Rainy Weather? We’ve Got it Covered (Literally!) at SuperCamps
Ah, the great British summer. One moment it’s glorious sunshine, the next it’s pouring with rain. But at SuperCamps, a little drizzle never dampens the fun.
Our camps are packed with exciting activities that go ahead no matter the forecast. Whether it’s sunny skies or soggy mornings, we’ve got creative, energetic, and engaging plans in place to keep your child smiling.
☔ Rain Ready and Raring to Go
We know how unpredictable August can be, so every camp day is designed with flexibility in mind. When the rain rolls in, the fun moves inside, and the energy stays high.
Here’s what campers get up to on wetter days:
Creative Crafts and Messy Makes
Tie dye, clay modelling, mask making and more. Rainy days are the perfect excuse to unleash some imagination indoors.
SuperCamps Talent Shows and Mini Dramas
Kids love stepping into the spotlight. From puppet shows to silly skits, rainy weather is the ultimate stage for creativity.
Games That Bring the Room to Life
Think giant board games, bingo battles, team trivia, and indoor relays. There’s no such thing as boredom at SuperCamps.
STEM and Puzzle Challenges
Our team brings out brain boosting tasks like building towers, cracking codes, and indoor scavenger hunts to keep young minds buzzing.
🏠 Rainy Day Fun You Can Try at Home
Can’t make it to camp today? Here are a few SuperCamps style ideas to keep the fun going at home — no sunshine required.
Indoor Obstacle Course
Use cushions, chairs, blankets, and tape to create a challenge course through the living room.
Kitchen Science
Try classic experiments like vinegar and baking soda volcanoes, invisible ink with lemon juice, or making your own slime.
Camp at Home
Build a blanket fort, switch off the lights, and have an indoor “campfire” story session with flashlights and snacks.
Rainy Day Bingo
Create a bingo sheet with easy indoor tasks: draw a dinosaur, find something red, do ten star jumps, read a book, etc.
Dance Party or Freeze Dance
Let them burn off some energy to their favourite songs. Add in freeze moments for extra giggles.
DIY Puppet Show
Make sock puppets or paper finger characters, then let your child put on a show for the family.
Sometimes the best memories are made when plans get rained off — and these ideas are guaranteed to turn grey skies into giggles.
🌧️ When It Rains, We Shine
Many of our venues come with great indoor spaces like halls, studios, and classrooms, so we can easily pivot the plan without missing a beat. And if it’s just a light drizzle? We might even head outside for a bit of puddle jumping or a rain themed scavenger hunt. Because a little mud never hurt anyone.
☀️ Rain or Shine, We’re Ready
At SuperCamps, the weather doesn’t decide the fun — we do. Our experienced staff, well equipped venues, and adaptable programmes mean your child stays active, social, and happy, no matter what’s falling from the sky.
Come rain or shine, there’s still time to join the summer fun.
