The Great Super Camps Bake Off

Desserts and Decorations

Ready, steady... bake! The UK's premier baking course for children is back for a fourth year in 2017.

The Great Super Camps Bake Off has an all-new theme: Desserts and Decorations. Following feedback from parents, the all new 2017 Bake Off is aimed at slightly older children (8-14).

This skills-based baking course features many of the challenges of a professional kitchen.

The all-new recipes will allow children to take home two fantastic desserts every day, from Biscotti and Red Velvet Cupcakes to Apple Pie and Custard Tarts.

Decorative skills to be learned and practised include lattice-pastry making, chocolate shapes and curls, and the art of piping. Culinary essentials, like “Free From” recipes and Food Hygiene Awareness, will be explored and practised.

The Friday Finale will see young chefs bring together the skills learned during the week to create their Showstopper.
