Super Camps Charity Events - The Ultimate Challenge

CHARITY BEGINS AT SUPER CAMPS..…

2006/7 saw children, parents and staff raise a staggering £26,641.22 for disadvantaged children through our 25p donation from every day booked and Super Soak-a-Staff member. THANK YOU! Our External Operations Manager, Mark and Regional Manager, Katie ‘kicked-off’ this year’s focus with a trip Kayamandi Township, Stellenbosh in South Africa to learn more about the work we support and share ideas. The Super Camps team is passionate about our pledge to continue raising awareness and much needed funds to help sustain the enterprise in South Africa.

JUST GIVING

Here at the Head Office we challenge ourselves to get involved in every aspect of our company and going that extra mile is part of our philosophy. The Ultimate Challenge is no exception and we are passionate about doing that extra bit. As an additional push to raise money this year two members of our team are taking to the the sky and taking that extra step.......out of a plane! Caterina and Becca will be heading up to 10,000ft and then completely voluntarily jumping out.....possibly after several very deep breaths and lots of encouragement. To make their plummet to the Earth worthwhile we would like you to take that extra step and donate as much as you can Click here to donate We would like to thank you for your support and will let you know how they get on. There are many ways in which individuals, families, schools and organisations can help make our commitment become a reality….

SUPER-SOAK-A-STAFF

This key event is firmly embedded in the summer plan. Every Wednesday throughout the summer, the staff prepare to get soggy sponges hurled at them by the children in the name of charity. This activity is fun to do and even more fun to watch, and we hope to raise £10,000 through this alone.

‘FEED ME!’

A new and exciting event is taking place across all of our sites on Wednesday 6th August 2008. The children need not bring a packed lunch as they can make and eat their own feast at camp. A minimum donation of just £5.00 per child could raise up to £15,000. To take part please donate with booking.

CLIMB OUT OF POVERTY

Super Camps invite school children (Yr2+) to ascend our 24ft climbing wall during a sponsored event at school, helping disadvantaged children ‘CLIMB OUT OF POVERTY’….150 children achieving a minimum contribution of just £10 each could raise over £1,500. Contact us if you would like to be involved. If you want to learn more about any of these events or have ideas of your own we would be happy to hear from you. Please contact us at events@supercamps.co.uk. 2008 is set to be a very exciting year!
