
Welcome to RAW Adventure! If you are committed to working with children, and you have experience and/or qualifications in the outdoors, then keep reading because we may have the position for you.
Why RAW Adventure?
Where can I apply to work?
We are running our RAW Adventure camps at 11 sites across the country.(listed below). All RAW sites currently run our Super Camps multi-activity programme, and we feel they fit the back-to-basics characteristics that define our RAW camps. The programme will be based in large canvas tents, but we will be outside even in poor weather! However – you’ll have a RAW Adventure Jacket to keep you dry!
When you apply, you will be asked which Super Camps site you would like to work at – make sure it is listed below. These are grouped into 5 regions, and you will be expected to travel to any of the sites within your region. Camps will run for 1 or 2 weeks at each location in any particular region throughout the summer. Preferably, we would like you to be available to work for the full 5 weeks in your region, but we will accept applications for fewer weeks.

– this programme runs for the entire 5 weeks, and is combined with the Super Camps multi-activity programme.

Region 6:
Aberdour School, Burgh Heath

What happens next?
Stage 1: Application
We would prefer you to apply online by clicking on the “apply online” button, or if you are not able to do this, you can download and print the application form.
Stage 2: Selection and Initial Online Training
If we think you have the right background and experience for either of our RAW Adventure staff roles, we will contact you for a brief telephone interview. If you have applied for the Programme Manager position, this will be followed up by an invite to one of our RAW Manager interview days.
Stage 3: Residential RAW Adventure Training Weekend
We will then send you details of our RAW training weekend in June. This is an intensive 2 day course, where we build on the basics you have learned online, and give you the tools you need to facilitate the whole of the RAW Adventure programme. The weekend will be located at one of our RAW sites; watch this space for details!

- Working for us is a great way to gain additional experience working with children in the outdoors, especially if you have, or are thinking of working towards any outdoor qualifications.
- RAW Adventure will give you the opportunity to learn new outdoor skills in a cohesive team environment, as well as developing your facilitation capabilities. You’ll be working with like-minded, outdoor orientated individuals, and getting paid to have fun!
