We want your child’s week at RAW to be as rewarding as possible, so we will also give
them time to step back and reflect upon the experiences they have had, and the skills
they have learned.

As our advocate Benedict Allen mentions in his note, each child will receive an Adventure Journal to complete. Benedict knows only too well the importance of reporting back, not only on exploration of the outdoors, but on the self-discovery that occurs along the way.

The Journal is developed by Benedict based on his experience in the field. It’s the real deal! They will get time to fill out sections every day at camp, and continue to use after camp if they wish to.

Each day will come with genuine journal entries from Benedict himself, including field notes and sketches from some of his many exciting expeditions. Opposite Benedict’s entry, will be a blank template for your child to write and sketch about the outdoor goals they have achieved, and what they felt their experiences meant to them personally.
