Senior Activity Instructor
The role of Senior Activity Instructor is to support the Site Manager in the smooth and efficient running of a Super Camps site; whilst leading various multi activity sessions. They will be responsible for registering Crews during the whole week as well as being an important point of contact for parents and children during their time at Super Camps.Description:
- Support the Site Manager in managing and directing the staff to ensure they adhere to processes and procedures whilst the children in the care of Super Camps continually have a fun, stimulating and safe time
- Plan and deliver activities with structure and enthusiasm; encouraging maximum participation
- Manage the exchange of all relevant information on the children in the crew
- Work alongside the Site Manager during the meet and greet with the parents/guardians at the start and end of the day
- Manage the equipment and inventory to ensure that the multi-activity programme can be delivered at all times throughout the duration of the Camp
- Undertake additional duties such as supervision of children during non-activity time and cleaning
- Deputise for the Site Manager when necessary
Requirements:
Ideally educated to degree level or working towards this with experience, skills and attributes as follows:- Previous Multi-Activity Camp experience ideally working within a supervisory role
- Previous experience teaching/coaching children in Sports/Arts and Crafts
- Enthusiastic and organised with excellent communication skills
- Energetic and outgoing with good use of initiative
- Flexible, team player willing to take on various tasks as required
Selection and Appointment process:
If your application form is short listed you will be contacted by our HR team who will speak to you further about your experiences. If selected you will be required to complete an on-line test based on our online training programme; following this you will be required to attend:- A Central Training and Selection Day (Based in Oxford, London or Birmingham)
- A Site Specific Training and Set-up day (Located at school you will be working at) – paid training day
Pay: £325 – £350 per week
Hours: 8am – 5.15pm / 8.30am – 5.45pm / 8.45am – 6.00pm (Monday – Friday)
Temporary Contract (School holidays – part seasons considered)
