Mobile Climbing Wall Operator and Instructor
Super Camps own a 24ft mobile Climbing Wall which will be visiting many camps during the holidays and will be used for Ultimate Challenge (Charity - see website for more details) events throughout term time. Super Camps are seeking Climbing Wall Operators/Instructors to work odd days during term time and also various dates throughout school holidays.- The ideal candidate will have some previous climbing experience and will have had previous experience working with children (desirable, but not essential).
- It is important this person is responsible and physically fit enough to be able to climb up to the top of the wall, so ideally not afraid of heights!
- As well as running climbing wall sessions and events, towing and operating the wall is also part of the job description.
- In order to be able to tow the wall it is essential the candidate has category B+E on their driving license. (license must have been obtained before January 1997 to be suitable or additional course must have been completed)
- This person will need to be a confident driver as they will be driving a Landover and towing the wall to various locations.
Location:- Based in Oxfordshire but camps and events nationwide
Hours:- Flexible
Pay:- £10 per hour (travelling time from wall destination (Oxfordshire) to/from camp/event also paid for)
Training:- Full training will be provided for the specific wall (1/2 a day)
