A Day at Super Camps
Dropping off your children
Parents can sign children in any time from 8.00 – 9.20, taking advantage of our FREE extended hours! Sign in is an ideal time for you to ask questions about camp and pass on any information regarding your child/ren to the team as well as communicating any pick up arrangements that we need to be aware of. Once signed in our Activity Instructors will introduce your child/ren to the Free Choice Activities that are running that day. These are fully supervised, non-timetabled, fun activities including an art table, sports and games to keep children active whilst everyone arrives. Please ensure your children are signed in by 9.20 at the latest to ensure they have plenty of time to get settled before activities start. At 9.20 the staff team will kick the day off with the Fun Five Minutes, followed by the Crew Welcome and Camp Welcome ready for timetabled activities to begin at 9.40.Contacting the Site Manager
You will be able to contact your Site Manager throughout the day on their Site Manager mobile phone - the number will be made available for you at Sign In. Please use this to inform camp if someone different will be collecting your child (in which case we would need a password), if you need to pass on important information or if you want to check your child has settled in and is happy.Breaktimes
Children have two 20 minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon during which childen can grab a squash or water provided by us and refuel with a snack from their lunchbox.Drinks
We provide squash during breaktimes and water is available throughout the day. A refillable drinks bottle is a good idea so they can take a drink to activities with them.Lunch
Lunch is a sociable occasion where children can eat and catch up with friends, siblings and Activity Instuctors for the first half an hour. After that there’s another 30 minutes to run around, play games, sing on the Karaoke machine or chill out! Lunch and breaks are, of course, fully supervised at all times. Parents are required to provide a packed lunch and extra snacks for breaks and extended hours.Colour Points
Children will be assigned to their Colour Point Team on their first day. Points are awarded everyday however they are not just for winning; they are also awarded for team work, positive contribution, spirit of the game, helpfulness and many other factors!Fantastic Fridays!
Everyone loves Fridays that’s why they are Fantastic! On Fridays all the crews come together to join their Colour Point Teams for the final session of the day where they complete a set of fantastically fabulous, friendly team games and challenges! To top off the fantastic-ness, Colour Points are worth 5 times as much on a Friday!Early Collection
If you would like to collect before 4.30 we ask that you arrange this with the Site Manager during Sign In or by calling their mobile phone in advance. The ideal time to pick up early is at 3.00 (during afternoon break) to minimise disruption and to allow the Site Manager to have your child/ren and their belongings ready.End of the day
Each afternoon at 4.15 the whole camp comes together to Wrap Up the Day. Each Activity Instructor presents their Super Star of the Day certificate to the child in their crew who has demonstrated teamwork, helpfulness, effort and achievement. The team will also tally up each team’s Colour Points for the day ready to start signing out from 4.30 – 6.00.Picking up your children
Children will again be offered a selection of Free Choice Activities whilst waiting to be collected. Sign out is an opportunity for our team to feedback information regarding your child’s day, pick up any artwork they may have made and to ensure they have all their belongings before you take them home happy and exhausted! All children must be collected by 6.00 (5.30 for Wimbledon High School and Mayflower High School) - our staff team work very hard to ensure your children have a fantastic time and are only contracted until 6.00/5.30. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee of £5 per 15 minutes for a late pick up.
