    About our activity day camps

Our activity day camps are a terrific way for kids to have fun, exercise and meet new friends during the school holidays. The Summer camps and programmes we run during other holiday seasons are a superb way to get outdoors and enjoy a vast number of activities. Our other activity day camps run during February Half Term, Easter, October and Christmas and provide children with a fun and sociable place to play. Dr Gwyneth Doherty-Sneddon, child psychologist at the University of Stirling, stated in The Times last year the benefits of Summer camps “can be a positive experience if the children are in a controlled and emotionally supportive environment”. She thinks there are many skills to be gained by attending activity day camps. “Adapting to a new environment is challenging for children, as well as connecting with a new set of people – all these things will develop their social skills, particularly useful for less confident children.” Summer camps and programmes running during other holiday seasons have become more important in the UK over the last few years giving children the opportunity to play in a fun, safe and sociable environment while parents work, relax or catch up with friends. We like to think we offer parents peace of mind while offering children, aged 4-14, a piece of the action!!
